In 1965, BOMONSTER's dad Winston Beaumont made a living drawing monster-driven cars and t-shirts with rats on them. He was one of only a handful of artists back then with his own catalog of drag race culture art and apparel merchandise. Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's Maywood studio was right around the corner from Winston's shop and Winston placed all of Ed's small space ads in the car magazines to collect the 15% media commission.

In 1967, Winston discovered local AMA desert motorcycle racing and directed his artistic talents to capture those early days on large scale cartoon posters. Winston also used his commercial art background, copywriting and photography skills to create the Webco and Al Baker's XR's only catalogs in the 1970s.

In this self-published, limited run, collector's edition 84-page book, BOMONSTER recalls what it was like to grow up with his artist dad and compares his own art style with his dad's original work from 50 years ago.

After Winston's passing in 2015 at the age of 84, BOMONSTER found Winston's original art and started scanning. The scanning led to the memories of being there as it was created and that led to this book.

Each book is signed by BOMONSTER and includes a sequential number in order of signing.
